The Best Vacation House Rental at the Lake of the Ozarks Year-Round

Our waterfront bar & restaurant is currently on a winter break (but we'll be back again and ready to party in spring 2019!) Even so, you can still be close to Backwater Jack's any time fo the year when you stay in our Lake of the Ozarks vacation rental house! There's plenty of room to bring along a few friends, plus 3 options to choose from depending on the size of your group.

When you choose to rent both floors of the Cozy House during your vacation at the Lake of the Ozarks, you'll be just 100 feet away from Backwater Jack's. The entire house can accommodate up to 16 people. If you only need enough space for 8 or fewer guests, you can rent just the upper level or the lower level instead.

The Upper Level
The upper level has four bedrooms (each with a queen-size bed,) 2 full bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a great covered deck just a few feet from the lake. It has an open concept living, dining, and kitchen area.

The kitchen has a fridge, oven, micr…

5 Things We're Thankful For This Year

Thanksgiving will be here in a few days, which has us pondering over the many different things that Backwater Jack's has to be thankful for. Believe us when we say that there are a lot more than 5 reasons to be thankful this year, but the following list sums up the big ones quite nicely.

People LOVE Backwater Jack's! Take a Look...

A lot of seasonal venues in the lake area have closed for the season, but not your favorite waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks! You can still get back to Backwater Jack's 7 days a week this fall, and it's every bit as wonderful now as it is in the summer. (Usually a little bit quieter, but still just as fun!)

Just in case you think we're a little biased in that opinion, we've gathered a few recent reviews for Backwater Jack's from across the web. These people have been having a fantastic experience here with us over the past few weeks, and you still can too.

"Stumbled upon this place while passing through for the day and happened to get the crab leg special. Really quite good crab legs for a great price. The atmosphere here is great, with lots of decks, overlooks, swim up bars, seating both indoor and out. You could easily waste an entire day here that's for sure. We had a really good time."
