The Best Vacation House Rental at the Lake of the Ozarks Year-Round
Our waterfront bar & restaurant is currently on a winter break (but we'll be back again and ready to party in spring 2019!) Even so, you can still be close to Backwater Jack's any time fo the year when you stay in our Lake of the Ozarks vacation rental house! There's plenty of room to bring along a few friends, plus 3 options to choose from depending on the size of your group.
THE COZY HOUSE
When you choose to rent both floors of the Cozy House during your vacation at the Lake of the Ozarks, you'll be just 100 feet away from Backwater Jack's. The entire house can accommodate up to 16 people. If you only need enough space for 8 or fewer guests, you can rent just the upper level or the lower level instead.
The Upper Level
The upper level has four bedrooms (each with a queen-size bed,) 2 full bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a great covered deck just a few feet from the lake. It has an open concept living, dining, and kitchen area.
The kitchen has a fridge, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. All of the dishes, flatware, glasses, and cookware you should need are there for you to use. We provide starter paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, towels, and washcloths.
The Lower Level
The lower level studio setting contains 2 bedrooms (1 has a queen bed and the other contains 3 queen beds,) 2 bathrooms, a mini kitchen, a living room, and an awesome deck with a view of all the boating action coming through the Backwater Jack's cove. (There's not a lot of that this time of year, but you still may see some boaters braving the cold air!) Regardless of the time of year that you stay with us, the sunsets over the water are always gorgeous. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffeepot. You also get starter paper towels, hand soap, and dish soap.
When Can You Be Here?
There are plenty of wonderful reasons to take a vacation at the Lake of the Ozarks during our off-season. You can always find all kinds of awesome events happening each month. (Yes, even in the winter!) One in particular is the Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl in February. If you haven't experienced that yet, you need to check it out!
There are still openings available this month. You might be in town shopping for the holidays, or possibly visiting family but prefer not to stay at their place. New Year's Eve is only a few weeks away, and you can spend the entire evening together with a big group of friends if you rent out the entire Cozy House.
It's not too early to start reserving dates for next spring and summer too. An excellent place to check on dates for annual events at the Lake of the Ozarks is www.Funlake.com. If you already know when you will have vacation time or happen to be planning a bachelor or bachelorette party, you'll want to grab those dates before someone else books them first!
