Our Succulent Seafood Mix - So Many Delicious Possibilities!

Backwater Jack's in Osage Beach offers a diverse menu of what we like to call a "Coastal Cuisine with a Midwestern Flair". In other words, we've uniquely combined the styles and ingredients cultures of South Florida and the Caribbean with traditional favorites of the Midwest.

This style of cooking includes a wonderful variety of seafood dishes at our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront restaurant & bar. We serve snow crab, boiled shrimp, oysters on the half shell, ahi tuna, grouper, and more. (You'll even find the best sushi at the Lake of the Ozarks down by the pool at our Sushi & Asian Grill!)

Our Succulent Seafood Mix
We also created a succulent seafood mix made up of three delicious kinds of seafood - shrimp, scallops, and crab meat. This mixture is the main ingredient in quite a few of our menu items. Here's a closer look at how our chef's have brilliantly used this flavorful mix of seafood.

In addition to the fantastic food and drinks that our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar & restaurant is known for, the experience and gorgeous lake view make your visit even better.

Here's a look at some of the many, many reasons why people keep coming back to Backwater Jack's.

Lots of Seating, Inside & Out
Okay, we didn't count every single seat. It's busy around here this time of year! Just know that there is plenty of seating to satisfy groups of all sizes. Inside the main restaurant, you can get out of the heat yet still enjoy our fantastic lake view through the big, scenic windows. There's also a great deck surrounding that area for seating as well.

Our Awesome Appetizers - the Mini-Meal Before the Meal!

Appetizers are meant to be a small something to eat to tide you over until the main meal arrives. At our waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks, the majority of our appetizers are hearty enough to be a meal all on their own! That is unless you're with a big group of people at Backwater Jack's that are all sharing the app. (But in that case, surely you'll be ordering more than just one!)

Regardless of whether you're sharing plates from our appetizer menu or keeping the entire dish all to yourself, ordering an app is a great way to start your dining experience. Around here, you'll find two different appetizer menus to choose from. One at the main restaurant and another down by the pool at the Sushi & Asian Grill.

Here's a quick peek at both of those. (Settle in, because these lists are long!)
