We couldn't hold off the winter season forever, and unfortunately, this will be our last week of the season. To celebrate the wonderful 2016 season, we are thanking all of our customers with a Customer Appreciation Day on December 23 with half price food and drinks until it's GONE!  With the season coming to a close at Backwater Jack's , we wanted to take some time to look back at the fabulous summer season at Lake of the Ozarks' best waterfront bar and grill ! All good things must come to an end. While we are sad that we will be closing our doors for the season on December 23, we want to celebrate how great of a season this one has been. This has been a fantastic summer and fall, but since you can't stop winter from coming, we will just have to remember all the good times and just wait it out until summer 2017 when we can do it all again. Before we settle in for the winter, we're going to throw one last party that you definitely won't want to miss! The weather is getting colder and many people have switched from delicious, frozen drinks to drinks that warm us up! Many favorite winter cocktails feature whiskey, so your Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar and grill dug up some facts about it so you can impress your friends the next time you're around the bar.  1. Whiskey can last forever. If left unopened and out of direct sunlight, whiskey can be kept indefinitely. In addition, if you open a bottle and seal it up properly, it can stay for a very long time. We are so grateful for all of our wonderful customers, who have allowed us to stay open this late into the season. Moving forwards, we will be open Thursdays - Sundays.
