  It's not quite time for your favorite waterfront restaurant & bar at the Lake of the Ozarks to open back up for our 2021 season (but opening day's not that far away either!) Still, there's an exciting annual event that is definitely worth heading to the lake area for, even if you can't get back to Backwater Jack's just yet. That event is the Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl and this year, instead of just 1 day, it's 3 whole days long!   This extremely popular annual event is going to look a little bit different this year. In addition to having tons of reasons to get yourself back to Backwater Jack's over the next few months, September alone brings with it tons of annual events at the Lake of the Ozarks that you don't want to miss.   This Weekend - On the Ground & In the Air This coming weekend is jam-packed with two exciting events and our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar & restaurant is sandwiched right in the middle of them! First up, the 32nd Annual Lake of the Ozarks Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals  is taking over the historic Bagnell Dam Strip in Lake Ozark Friday, September 11-Sunday, September 13 . Central Missouri's largest car show is an event for all ages. The Strip becomes a mile-long "parking lot" for the weekend, filled with many makes, models, and years of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Wait... what? Our Silent Disco 21+ poolside dance party (with NO COVER , might we add) is an event where participants are given light-up headphones with the ability to receive 3 different channels. Employees at the bars and restaurants around the lake area work hard to make sure everyone visiting has an awesome time while they're in town. Backwater Jack's , along with our friends from Malibu, are setting aside Tuesday, July 30, 2019 , to give all of those hardworking service industry folks their very day of fun on the water.  Our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar & restaurant will be home to the 1st Annual Malibu Service Industry Raft Races! Everyone in town is welcome to hang out at the pool & cheer on the teams but this competition is reserved for service industry employees. From 11 am-7 pm , the coolest DJs will be rocking the poolside stage.
