St. Patrick's Day is the time of year when the lake area starts stretching and waking up after a long winter's hibernation (regardless of the weather on the holiday!) There are parades and fun festivities on both the land and on the water, but best of all, your favorite Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar & restaurant is open for the beginning of another incredible season! Sure, since our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar & restaurant is closed this time of year, you probably don't think there's any reason to head to the lake area looking for fun. On the contrary, even though you can't get back to Backwater Jack's just yet (but very soon!) you can still enjoy a trip to the lake.  It's gorgeous around these parts year-round, plus during the off-season, everything seems to flow a bit more of a slowed-down, relaxed pace.
