July's Cool Events & Great Live Music at Backwater Jack's
You might think that a month that begins with the best pool party at the Lake of the Ozarks for the 4th of July can't get any better, but we're up to that challenge! Backwater Jack's has all kinds of excitement packed into the month of July. Get out your calendars out and get ready to mark down some very important dates.
Friday, July 5
Zero Ducks Given Pool Party
Fourth of July weekend starts out with a bang with a special Friday edition of our 21+ Zero Ducks Given Pool Party! From 11 am-7 pm, the coolest DJs will be rocking the poolside stage. The water will be full of ducks and tons of fun people all ready to have a good time.
Reps from your favorite companies will be on hand giving away samples of their latest products and passing out all kinds of goodies. The party's not officially over at 7 pm though, because that's when the band takes over the stage and carries the excitement on into the wee hours of the morning!
Saturday, July 13
Namaste & Rosé Poolside Yoga
Each month instructor Cierre Grein leads an hour-long 21+ yoga class beginning at 10:00 am before the restaurant opens. Once the session is over everyone will relax poolside with a refreshing glass of rosé. Space is limited, so you will need to order tickets online through our Facebook event page and be sure to bring your own yoga mat along with you.

Margarita Madness Pool Party
Along with our friends at Hornito's tequila, we're bringing you a margarita-filled pool party with all kinds of excitement thrown into the mix! Expect only the best DJs rocking the house from 11 am-7 pm and get ready to dance. Salsa lessons will be given to all those willing to give this sexy dance a try.
There will also be some very special margaritas on the menu plus boozy margarita popsicles and souvenir margarita pitchers. Oh, and did we mention, there is NO COVER for this magnificent 21+ margarita extravaganza!!!

Malibu Service Industry Raft Races
Gather your teams and get ready for the 1st Annual Malibu Service Industry Raft Races at Backwater Jack's! It's FREE to enter. Sign-up begins at 11 am with the races starting at 1 pm. DJs will be playing at the pool party all day long while the races are happening. You can also expect some amazing drink specials on Malibu, Absolut, and Jameson.
Prize packages will consist of Apple watches, Cardinals and Royals tickets, and some great gift cards. There will even be a special prize for the best team uniforms, so get your creative juices flowing to come up with an awesome look for the event.
A full list of rules will be provided at sign-up, but here are the basics.

- Races will consist of 3 teams at a time in a bracket format.
- All party rafts, oars, and life jackets will be provided.
- Teams must consist of 2 males and 2 females, 21+, that work in the service industry. (The pool party is open to everyone, but racers must be employees of the service industry.)
