Awesome Lake of the Ozarks Events This September - Cars, Planes, & Bikes... OH MY!

 If you thought that all the fun to be had ended around here with Labor Day Weekend, you'd better think again! In addition to having tons of reasons to get yourself back to Backwater Jack's over the next few months, September alone brings with it tons of annual events at the Lake of the Ozarks that you don't want to miss.  

This Weekend - On the Ground & In the Air

This coming weekend is jam-packed with two exciting events and our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar & restaurant is sandwiched right in the middle of them! First up, the 32nd Annual Lake of the Ozarks Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals is taking over the historic Bagnell Dam Strip in Lake Ozark Friday, September 11-Sunday, September 13. Central Missouri's largest car show is an event for all ages. The Strip becomes a mile-long "parking lot" for the weekend, filled with many makes, models, and years of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. On the other side of us at the Camdenton Memorial Lake Regional Airport is the Lake of the Ozarks Air Show on Saturday, September 10. This family-fun event takes most of the action to the skies, although there's still a ton of stuff to do on the ground as well. You can check out a B-52 Bomber up close, marvel at breathtaking air shows, visit vendor booths, and a whole lot more. New this year, the Traveling Memorial Vietnam Wall will be arriving at the airport on Friday and remain there for viewing through Sunday. For more details, visit LakeOfTheOzarksAirShow.com.

Next Week - Bikefest!

Just a few days after the weekend excitement above, Bikefest Lake of the Ozarks once again hits the lake area! September 16-20, 2020, expect to see bikes everywhere that you look! While there will be exciting activities happening all over the place, a huge chunk of the fun will be going on right here at Backwater Jack's! (You know, like usual!) 

Directly related to the Bikefest, we are a Bikefest Passport Stop again this year. You will need to have your passport stamped by us, as well as all of the other participating locations, before it can be turned in on Sunday for your chance to win a brand new Harley-Davidson FLHP Road King Police Motorcycle. Passports can be picked up right here at Backwater Jack's or at any of the stops on the route for a $20 entry donation.
