The Delicious Entrees of Backwater Jack's

When it's time to decide what you're going to eat for dinner, the best decision you could possibly make is to get back to Backwater Jack's! When you dine at the best waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks, you don't have to cook or clean, simply pick a dish and wait for us to serve it to you with a smile. 


There are lots of tasty choices to pick from on our extensive menu. Today we're featuring the Entree section. Come in hungry, and don't be surprised if you have to ask for a doggy bag when you're full. 

Delicious Dinners
There's no reason for you to slave over a hot stove when Backwater Jack's serves up amazing entrees like the ones listed below. Each is served with a Water's Edge House Salad, dinner roll, and your choice of one of our savory side dishes. 


Grilled Pork Loin
A 14-oz. pork loin smoked, grilled, and then smothered in apricot teriyaki sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds.

14-oz. Ribeye
Seasoned to perfection, cooked to your desired temperature, and topped with garlic butter.

Chicken Tenders
Four chicken tenders marinated in a teriyaki glaze, grilled and served over rice.

Blackened Ahi Tuna
An 8-oz. charbroiled tuna steak blackened and cooked to your desired temperature (best med-rare to medium) topped with garlic butter & served over wild rice.

Grouper
A generous portion of our own version of fillets prepared either grilled, blackened, or coated in a light batter and deep-fried. Served over a bed of wild rice.

Jamaican Lime Grilled Chicken
An 8-oz boneless chicken breast spiced with Jamaican jerk seasonings, charbroiled, then topped with grilled lime and Jack’s tropical Italian dressing. Served over a bed of wild rice.

Snow Crab Clusters
Nothing but the freshest snow crab clusters boiled hot and served with a tub of butter.


Friday Night Steak Night
Friday night is Steak Night at Backwater Jack's! This spring we are offering an additional mouthwatering entree every Friday evening. A special dinner that includes our premium cut 7-oz. Filet Mignon, cooked to your liking, served with one of our delicious signature side dishes. You can add Grilled Shrimp and/or a Demi Glace Sauce to add even more YUM! We also feature some unbelievable wine specials to pair with your savory steak dinner. 


Signature Side Dishes
The side dishes we serve up alongside each of our entrees are equally as taste-tempting as the main dishes. By far, we are most famous for that amazing Fried Potato Salad, but your other choices are pretty incredible too. 
  • Fried Potato Salad
  • French Fries
  • Fried Green Beans
  • Steamed Broccoli
  • Coleslaw
  • Flame-Grilled Sugar Snap Peas 
  • Cottage Cheese
  • Red Beans & Rice
  • Baked Potato (after 4 pm)

Who's Hungry?
Reading about all of those delicious dishes probably has your mouth watering about now. Currently, our waterfront restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is open every Thursday-Sunday at 11 am. Once the weather decides to cooperate, we'll once again be open 7 days a week, and the opening back up of our incredible pool shouldn't be too far behind that.

For now, though, you've got 4 whole days and nights to join us at Backwater Jack's. It can be for lunch, dinner, or just drinks. Whatever you're in the mood for, we're just happy the season has started and we get to hang out with you awesome people again!
