April has been labeled as Stress Awareness Month. If you become aware of the fact that there's too much stress in your life, there's no better place to relieve that stress than our awesome waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks! The next time you feel like you need a break from it all, that's when you've gotta get back to Backwater Jack's, and here are a few reasons why.
Live Music
It has been proven that the soothing power of music is an effective tool for stress relief, and you can enjoy the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks right here at Backwater Jack's. We've got plenty of room for our incredible bands both inside and outside, so no matter what the weather, you can join us for an evening of amazing music that will carry your worries away with it. Amazing Drinks
A good, stiff drink is just the thing to take the edge off of a really rough day, and our bartenders mix the most amazing drinks in town! Ice-cold beer, perfectly mixed drinks, fantastic wine, and those out-of-this-world frozen concoctions are all waiting for you behind the bar. Our daily specials always include a great deal on some type of drink, like canned beer on Raw Deal Thursdays, wine specials on our Friday Steak Night (seasonally,) and great prices on Bloody Marys and Mimosas on Sunday Fun Day. Once we're open 7 days a week again, you can add Rum Runner deals on Crabby Ol' Monday, Margarita and shot specials on Tequila Tuesday, and Wine-O Wednesday to the list too.
Personal Wait Staff
Okay, technically you will have to share your bartender or server with other people in the restaurant, but you will get waited on so that you can sit back and relax a little. They will bring you your food and drinks, make sure you have everything you need, and clean up for you when you're done. You're probably not going to get that type of attention at home very often, so come on in and let us take good care of you.
The Pool
The weather hasn't allowed us to open up the best lakeside pool at the Lake of the Ozarks quite yet, but SOON! Once the pool and our swim-up bar are open again for the season, it's the most stress-free spot you're going to find. You can hang out in a lounge chair and soak up some sun or chill out in the pool, drink in hand. Just wait until we get some of our famous Zero Ducks Given pool parties going. You'll be having such a great time, you won't be worried about anything!

We are currently open every Thursday-Sunday at 11:00 am, but soon you'll be able to once again join us 7 days a week at Backwater Jack's. You come on in ready to relax and have a great time and we'll see that it happens!
