Don't Miss the Zero Ducks Given Memorial Day Weekend Pool Party at the Lake of the Ozarks

Spring has been a bit different than we're used to this year, but things are starting to look a lot more like normal here at Backwater Jack's in Osage Beach. We're still doing everything we can to keep our customers healthy, safe, and properly social-distanced but that doesn't mean we can't have some fun at the same time.

Memorial Day Weekend is fast approaching and that means it's time for another one of those famous Zero Ducks Given Pool Parties at your favorite waterfront restaurant & bar at the Lake of the Ozarks! On Saturday, May 23, 2020, from 11:00 am-7:00 pm our pool will be rockin'! 

We are excited to announce that the amazing Dee Jay Silver will be spinning out by the pool during this incredible event. More about him below, but first, here's a look at the extra precautions and safety measures we'll be taking this time around.  

    

Current Pool Party Etiquette
Backwater Jack's has been working with and taking the advice of local government officials to ensure that proper precautions are taken to provide a safe environment during these unprecedented times. Sure, we're all ready to get out and get back to life as we know it, but not at the expense of anyone's health. 

Here are some of the extra precautions we will be taking during the Zero Ducks Given Pool Party over Memorial Day Weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks. 

• We will be operating at a reduced capacity to allow for social distancing. 
• Non-contact thermal temperature screenings of all attendees will take place at the entrance.
• We will have personal bottles of hand sanitizer available free at the gate.
• There will be additional hand sanitizing stations located throughout the property.
• Attendants will be continually cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms.
• We will have a paramedic on staff the entire duration of the event.

Dee Jay Silver 

For this particular pool party, we have a very special guest showing up to entertain the crowd. Dee Jay Silver has been a top touring DJ/remixer/producer for the past 15 years and is the first DJ ever signed to a major Nashville Record Label, RCA Nashville. He is a talented entertainer has played in premier venues in virtually every major market in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. 

This groundbreaking open-format DJ/performer has thrilled millions with his unique ability to blend all types of music from hip hop and rock to house and country, as well as on mash-ups and remixes, for crowds of all sizes. Silver has been traveling the world playing every kind of event and venue from the largest nightclubs, high-profile celebrity parties, and exclusive private events to massive sporting events, award shows, major music festivals, and arena tours, plus all that’s in-between. 

Silver has shared the stage with some of biggest artists in the world. Beyond touring extensively with Jason Aldean (10 years) as well as , Chris Young, Kane Brown, Randy Houser, Florida Georgia Line, Jake Owen, Brad Paisley, Luke Bryan, Rascal Flatts, Eric Church, Cole Swindell, Tyler Farr, Thomas Rhett, Luke Combs, and many more. 

He’s appeared at many major music festivals, including the CMA Music Festival, Rock The South, Faster Horses, FarmBorough, Watershed, Route 91 Harvest, Lake Shake Festival, Carolina Country Music Festival, Tortuga Music Festival and more. In addition to spinning at football games for the Tennessee Titans, Dallas Cowboys, and University of Kentucky’s Wildcats, events for the Super Bowl, NASCAR races, National Finals Rodeo, and was the first DJ to ever play the Academy of Country Music Awards (ACMs) and the American Country Awards (ACAs). In 2016, Silver played at the MLB All-Star Game in San Diego CA, Wrigley Field in Chicago, and Fenway Park in Boston (alongside Jason Aldean and Kid Rock) to add to the impressive list of venues he’s performed at.

We highly suggest getting here early for one of the best annual events at the Lake of the Ozarks! Everyone will need to be spaced out more than usual and you'll want to claim your spot before the best ones are taken. 

Even though the situation isn't exactly what we're all used to this time around, it's going to be every bit as fun! After all, anytime spent at Backwater Jack's is an adventure in the making!
