Last Chance For Sushi & Swimming This Year!

The time has finally come for the best sushi at the Lake of the Ozarks to go into hibernation until next spring. You do have a few more days to get yourself back to Backwater Jack's to enjoy our Sushi & Asian Grill down by the pool, so don't be too sad just yet. 

Last Day For Sushi
Although the main restaurant and bars will remain open for a couple of months longer, the closing day for our Sushi & Asian Grill has been set for Sunday, October 13, 2019. This happens to land on the Fall Harbor Hop weekend (which takes place on Saturday, October 12) so we know a lot of you will be joining us for that already. 

 Make it a point to come in this week before the Hop and then hang out with us for Sunday Fun Day after as well. That gives you plenty of time for one final roll!  

Only the Best
The culinary artists of Jina Yoo's Asian Bistro out of Columbia, MO are in charge of our sushi kitchen and they are experts at this type of cuisine. You'll find many classic dishes like the California Roll and Rainbow Roll, plus quite a few with Backwater Jack's creative Midwestern flair like our BWJ Nachos made with wonton chips, mozzarella, pepper jack cheese, house-pickled jalapeno, black bean aioli salsa, and either grilled chicken, pulled pork, or tuna. 


If you haven't already (where have you been?) you really need to taste the unique menu from the Sushi & Asian Grill side of our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar & restaurant. The only downside to discovering it this late in the season is that you're going to have to wait a few months after this Sunday before you can treat your taste buds to it once again. (Don't let that scare you away though, because it's totally worth it!) 

For all of you that have already had the pleasure, get on over here one more time for your favorite dishes. As a matter of fact, if there are any new-to-you menu items you've been meaning to try, this week's the time to do that.

Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates who will be performing the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks on our stage. Be sure to bring your swimsuit too, because currently our heated pool is still open and waiting for you to hop on in. Sunday, October 13, 2019, will also be the last day our pool and swim-up bar will be open though, so enjoy it while you still can!
