The 2016 Shootout Poker Run Is This Friday!

Summer is not over yet! Although school has started in many parts of the state, there are still a few more weeks of exciting, summer fun left to be had, including the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout. If you are wanting to raise money for a great cause and have fun, then head on out to the best waterfront restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks for the Lake of the Ozarks for the annual poker run coming up this Friday.


The 2016 Shootout Poker Run - Friday, August 26


The Shootout Poker Run is one of our favorite annual events and Backwater Jack's is excited to be a part of it once again. Start your day with breakfast at Franky & Louie's and then hit the water for a day filled with fun, sunshine and of course, poker! 

The Run Down


Participants will explore the Lake of the Ozarks and stop at various locations to pick up a poker card for a total of eight cards. You get to pick your best five cards to submit as your official poker hand to win various prizes. Last year's prizes totaled $4,500. If you complete all 8 stops, you can be entered into a drawing for a $300 gas card from Pirates point and a YETI cooler from WIA Marine Insurance.

Join us for the auction and registration party on Thursday, August 25 from 4 - 9 p.m. at Performance Boat Center. 
Registration is $300 and the Captin/First Mate entry fee includes: 

One hand of Poker
Breakfast for two at Franky & Louie's
Two shirts
Two BBQ Dinners at Captain Ron's (6 p.m.)
One captain's bag
One Poker Run DVD

Additional hands and other items will be available for purchase throughout the poker run. 

Celebrate The Shootout Poker Run with Backwater Jack's


If you think you have what it takes to win, don't forget to sign up for the annual Shootout Poker Run. You can register online or during the event on Thursday, August 25 at Performance Boat Center. Lake of the Ozarks' favorite waterfront bar is excited to be a part of this fun, charity event. Proceeds from the event will go to support local firefighters and charities. No matter how you choose to participate, Backwater Jack's has something for everyone. If you aren't participating in the poker run, you can still come on by the best restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks to enjoy delicious food and amazing frozen drinks. You gotta get back to Backwater Jack's.
