It's All Treats (No Tricks) for Halloween Weekend at Backwater Jack's!

Image
Backwater Jack's is currently open beginning at 11:00 am every Thursday-Sunday. That means we'll be open on Halloween so you can swing by your favorite  waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks for all of your favorite "treats" from the kitchen and bar!  What exactly are we talking about? Well, take a look at these irresistible items! Great BIG Apps Remember when you were a kid and someone dropped a great big, full-size candy bar into your bag? Well, most of our appetizers are bigger than you'd expect rather than dinky and "fun-sized." (What's fun about small anyway?) These great BIG apps pack great BIG flavor too! For example, Jack's Jumbo Jalapeno Poppers are hand-stuffed to nearly overflowing and we're willing to bet our Colossal Crab Rangoon are the largest ones you've ever sunk your teeth into!  Succulent Seafood Our menu is filled with all kinds of succulent seafood dishes for you to enjoy. The Irresistible Entrees From the Menu at Backwater Jack's

This week Backwater Jack's transitioned to our "after-season" schedule of being open Thursday-Sunday each week. Sure, it's fewer days to join us but it's still 4 entire days of all of your favorite food and drinks from our waterfront restaurant & bar at the Lake of the Ozarks . During those 3 days that you've got to miss out on your Backwater Jack's favorites, we figure you'll be working up quite an appetite thinking about all of the delicious items you're going to enjoy on Thursday (which still happens to feature our famous Raw Deal Thursday specials!) To cure that ravenous appetite, how about one of our irresistible entrees?  Incredible Entrees Here's a closer look at those, just in case you need a little reminder. Each also comes with a salad and one side dish of your choice. Grilled Pork Loin A 14-oz. pork loin smoked, grilled, and then smothered in apricot teriyaki sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds.  14-oz. Ribeye Seasoned to perf...

Sandwiches So Satisfying, You May Need a Doggy Bag!

Image
Some people think that "just a sandwich" means a light lunch item that will hold you over until a bigger meal at dinner. Well, the sandwiches we serve at Backwater Jack's  don't really qualify as a "light" lunch.  They are so hearty and satisfying, they're more than enough for a big dinner themselves!   The fact that they also come with one of our incredible side dishes means you just may need to ask for a doggy bag to take some leftovers home with you! Here's a closer look at the delicious variety of great big sandwiches we have to offer at our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar & restaurant .  Triple Decker BLT A toasted triple decker filled with peppered bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on wheat bread.  Classic Club Sandwich A toasted triple decker filled with turkey, peppered bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and American cheese on wheat bread. Chicken Caesar Wrap Juicy grilled chicken, romaine, Parmesan, and creamy Caesar dressing in a tomato bas...

Get yourself back to Backwater Jack's soon and treat yourself to some of these.  Seafood Appetizers Snow Crab Clusters Nothing but the freshest snow crab clusters!
