June Entertainment at Backwater Jack's - Live Music & Raft Races!

The month of June finally brings summer to our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar & restaurant (on Saturday, June 20, to be exact.) During June, Backwater Jack's brings to all of you tons of awesome entertainment!


 Today's blog features this month's live music schedule plus all the details about our 2nd Annual Malibu Service Industry Raft Races. Add all that excitement to the delicious menu items and incredible pool time fun we offer on a daily basis and June's shaping up to be a month to remember!

The lake area is known for showcasing some of the most talented entertainers around. Our Backwater jack's stage is home to the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks nearly every night of the week! Here's who we've got lined up for you in June.

Service Industry Raft Races
Coming up on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, the 2nd Annual Malibu Service Industry Raft Races are taking place again at Backwater Jack's. Employees at the bars and restaurants around the lake area work hard to make sure everyone visiting has an awesome time while they're in town. This fun event allows those hardworking individuals to have a little fun of their own! 

 While the races are meant for service industry workers, everyone is invited to come out and enjoy the show! We'll have some incredible DJs playing at the pool party which coincides with the races. You can also expect to find amazing drink specials on Malibu, Absolut, and Jameson. 

 THE RULES

  • This event is FREE for teams to enter.
  • Races begin at 1:00pm, with sign-up starting at noon.
  • Races will consist of 2 teams at a time in a bracket format.
  • All party rafts, oars, and life jackets will be provided.
  • Teams must consist of 2 males and 2 females, ages 21+, that work in the service industry.
  • Additional rules will be provided at sign-up.  

THE PRIZES

  • We've got over $1,800 worth of amazing prizes up for grabs!
  • 1st Place: Choice of Apple Airpods OR a $200 spa day for each team member
  • 2ne Place: Apple Airpods OR a $200 spa day (whichever prize the 1st place team does not choose.)
  • 3rd Place: $200 bar tab at Backwater Jack's
  •  Additional Prizes for Best Team Uniforms


 As you can see, the remainder of June is packed full of reasons to get yourself back to Backwater Jack's in Osage Beach! Once we've made our way through June 2020, it will be time for Fourth of July Weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks! We'll expect to see you all back for that too.
