5 Things Backwater Jack's Is Thankful For This Year
It's that time of year when everyone begins reflecting on all of the reasons that they have to be thankful. Our waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks has been contemplating that too. All of us here at Backwater Jack's have tons of things to be thankful for, and in today's blog, we're sharing the top 5 reasons with you.
We're Still Open For 2017!
Yes, you read that right! In case you didn't already realize it, our 2017 season is still going strong. We're simply having too much fun to close the doors for the year yet, and we are thankful that so many of our great customers are here with us each day. There's plenty of seating inside our warm and cozy dining room, and you still get the pleasure of that outstanding lake view from in here.
We are open 7 days a week right now, we'll be closed on Thanksgiving Thursday for the holiday, and after that, we will remain open Thursday-Sunday weekly. There is no definite date set for ending the season yet, but know that we plan to be hanging out with you well into December.
Delicious Sushi
This season we added the Sushi & Asian Grill next to the pool, and it worked out beautifully! It's tough to find great tasting sushi at the Lake of the Ozarks, and it's not the easiest food to "whip up." We were very lucky to bring some incredible sushi chefs on board that allowed us to make everyone ordering extremely happy with the end result. The Sushi & Asian Grill closed along with the pool for the season already, but we're still offering a portion of that amazing sushi menu in the main restaurant until the end of our season.
Lots of New Friends
With all of the new additions that we were able to accomplish this year - the much larger parking lot, the bigger and better outdoor stage, the Sushi & Asian Grill, and of course that unbelievable pool - we got to meet a lot more people than ever before.
People can't resist checking out something new, and once they got here, they loved it and kept coming back! With our already extremely large list of customers that loved it here already, we are now very proud to say that Backwater Jack's list of friends is bigger than ever, and we expect it to keep growing.
Extraordinary Live Music
That bigger and better stage that we mentioned brought us the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks. You can see the bands and hear the music much better than ever before, and the talent that graced that stage was simply amazing.
Work is a lot more fun when you get to enjoy entertainment like that! We still host incredible live musicians indoors this time of year. Keep an eye on our Facebook page so you always know who will be playing when we book them.
Next Season Will Be Even Better!
This season got us so worked up and excited, we can't wait to see what next season will bring with it! We had plenty of time this year to work the kinks out of the new things we introduced, so next year we expect smooth sailing all the way.
Our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront restaurant & bar was so well-received this year, it gave us all the reasons in the world to strive for even more success next year. That means you can expect more delicious food, refreshing cocktails, awesome pool parties, fantastic live music, and amazing people to hang out with while you enjoy every bit of it!
Thank you to everyone who helped make all of those things we are thankful for come true. Like we said, we're not done for the year yet. You've gotta get back to Backwater Jack's and see this terrific season through with us until the end. We wouldn't want it any other way!
