National Seafood Month At Backwater Jack's

October is National Seafood Month! At Lake of the Ozarks' favorite waterfront bar and grill, we have a large selection of different seafood options. Whether you are looking for appetizers to share or a delicious sandwich for yourself, Backwater Jack's has it all. Check out these tasty seafood treats you can enjoy on your next visit to the best waterfront bar and grill at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Appetizers 

Snow Crab Clusters - Nothing but the freshest snow crab clusters! Boiled hot and served with a tub of butter. 
Colossal Crab Rangoon - Four oversized wontons stuffed with Jack's own crab cream cheese mix. Fried to a golden brown and served with our homemade apricot sauce. 
Backwater's Buffalo Shrimp - Ten butterflied shrimp breaded and served with a side of Jack's hot sauce. 
Raw Oysters on the Half Shell - Served with fresh- cut lemons and cocktail sauce. 
Jack's Baked Nachos - A pile of tortilla chips topped with tomatoes, black olives and onions then smothered in shredded cheddar jack cheese and baked. You can choose to have these nachos topped with a mix of shrimp, scallops and crab meat.
Jack's Quesadilla - A large flour tortilla shell stuffed with black olives, tomatoes, red and green onions and shredded cheddar jack cheese then grilled. Served with sour cream and salsa. You can choose to have your quesadilla filled with a mix of shrimp, scallops and crab meat. 

Salads

Jack's Island Seafood Salad - Shrimp, bay scallops and crab meat mix served over fresh seasonal greens with tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, sweet bell peppers, broccoli florets and red onions. 

Entrees

Blackened Ahi Tuna - An 8 oz. charbroiled tuna steak blackened and cooked to your desired temperature (best med-rare to medium) topped with garlic butter and served over wild rice. 
Snow Crab Clusters - Nothing but the freshest snow crab clusters boiled hot and served with a tub of butter. 
Grouper - A generous portion of our own version of fillets prepared with grilled, blackened or coated in a light batter and deep-fried. Served over a bed of wild rice. 
Fillet of Grouper - Our own version of this delicately flavored fish. Coated in a light batter and deep fried until golden brown. Also available grilled or blackened. Served with tartar sauce on a hoagie roll. 

Pasta & Rice

Jack's Seafood Florentine Pasta - Grilled shrimp, bay scallops, crab meat and roasted garlic served over fettuccine noodles with a rich and creamy Alfredo sauce.
Jack's Loaded Jambalaya - A mix of sauteed green and red bell peppers, onions, crab, scallops, shrimp, chicken and Andouille sausage tossed in a spicy sauce and served over a bed of wild rice garnished with our sweet corn bread. 
Spicy Cajun Seafood Pasta - Sauteed green and red bell peppers, onion, crab, scallops and shrimp tossed in a spicy, rich cream sauce and served over fettuccine noodles. 

Raw Deal Thursday

Every Thursday, you can enjoy some delicious deals on wings, shrimp and oysters! Canned beer is also on special, so you have something to wash it all down with. We also have other weekly specials including Crabby Ol' Monday and Wine-O-Wednesday.
