Always Find the Best Seafood at Backwater Jack's

Our brand new Sushi & Asian Grill menu has been the talk of the town lately. People are absolutely loving it! We haven't replaced the other delicious items already on the best seafood menu at the Lake of the Ozarks, simply added to the greatness. In case you need a refresher course, here are some of the savory seafood dishes that we've got for you at Backwater Jack's.  


-APPETIZERS
Whether you're in the mood for a snack, a great way to get your meal started, or a few tasty dishes to share with friends, our appetizer menu is sure to do all of that! 

Snow Crab Clusters
Nothing but the freshest snow crab clusters served here! Boiled hot and served with a tub of butter. (You can find these on the entree menu too. Go for the double order!)

West Key's Boiled Shrimp 
Succulent shrimp boiled in Cajun spices, chilled, and served with fresh-cut lemons and cocktail sauce. Available by the pound or half-pound.

Backwater's Buffalo Shrimp 
Ten butterflied shrimp breaded and served with a side of Jack’s hot sauce. It's a "hot" menu item!

Grouper Fingers
Our version of a hand-breaded filet in our unbelievable secret honey breading and served with raspberry tartar sauce. The best in town!

Raw Oysters on the Half Shell
Served cold with fresh-cut lemons and cocktail sauce. Available by the dozen or half-dozen.


-PASTAS
Noodles AND seafood... yes please! All of our pasta and rice dishes are served with a dinner roll and Water's Edge House Salad. 

Jack's Seafood Florentine Pasta
Grilled shrimp, bay scallops, crab meat, and roasted garlic all served over fettuccine noodles with a rich and creamy Alfredo sauce.

Spicy Cajun Seafood Pasta
Similar to our other seafood pasta, but with a Cajun kick! Sauteed green and red bell peppers, onions, crab, scallops, and shrimp tossed in a spicy, rich cream sauce and served over fettuccine noodles. 


-SALADS
Healthy veggies, savory seafood, and so much more! Our dressing choices include: Caesar, Ranch, Fat-Free Ranch, Honey Mustard, Italian, Blue Cheese, or our incredible House Special Dressing. The House Special is a tropical Island blended with tropical sauces and pineapple chunks. Terrific with seafood! 
Jack's Island Seafood Salad
Shrimp, bay scallops, and crab meat mix served over fresh seasonal greens with tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, sweet bell peppers, broccoli florets and red onions. 
-ENTREES
When you're in the mood for a hearty lunch or delicious dinner, our entrees really hit the spot! Each one is served with a Water's Edge House Salad, dinner roll, and your choice of 1 of our amazing side dishes. 

Blackened Ahi Tuna
An 8-oz. charbroiled tuna steak blackened and cooked to your desired temperature (best med-rare to medium) topped with garlic butter & served over wild rice.Grouper
A generous portion of our own version of fillets prepared either grilled, blackened or coated in a light batter and deep-fried. It is served over a bed of wild rice.

-SANDWICHES
If you prefer your seafood served between 2 pieces of bread, our Fillet of Grouper sandwich is what you need! You get to pick 1 of our awesome sides to go along with it too. 

Fillet of Grouper
Our own version of this delicately flavored fish. It's coated in a light batter and deep fried until golden brown, but also available grilled or blackened. Served with tartar sauce on a hoagie roll plus lettuce, tomato, red onion, and pickles. 

-WEEKLY SPECIALS
The regular menu at our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront restaurant and our Sushi & Asian Grill menu are just the beginning. If you plan ahead to be here on Monday or Thursday, we've got some of our mouthwatering seafood items available at extra-special prices! 

 Crabby Ol' Mondays
We know you're a little crabby when Monday rolls around. (Who isn't?) Join us every week for great specials on a pound of delicious Snow Crab Clusters and Pain in the A**'s and Rum Runners.

 Raw Deal Thursdays
Oysters, wings, and shrimp... Oh my! Technically, the wings are't raw, but they're just too good not to include in this weekly special. Consider it a bonus! You also get $1 off all canned beers to wash it down with.

Even though your favorite Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar & restaurant is closed this time of year, the lake can still be a fun place to visit.
