It's Steak Night EVERY Friday at Backwater Jack's!

You know that the best food at the Lake of the Ozarks can be find at Backwater Jacks every day of the week, but some days we make it even better than usual! This fall brought back one of our most popular weekly events - Friday Night Steak Night. Join us each Friday evening to get your weekend started off right with a big, juicy, mouthwatering Filet Mignon dinner! 


Fantastic Filet Mignon
The star of the show on Steak Night is a delicious 7-oz. premium cut of Filet Mignon. The name "Filet Mignon" is French for "tender fillet" or "delicate/fine fillet," and it earned that name because it truly is one of the tenderest cuts of beef. It comes from a part of the cow that doesn't get used very much, which is the reason why the meat is so very tender.  

For the simple price of $14.99, you not only get that mouthwatering steak, but also one of Backwater Jack's signature side dishes. Your choices include:

  • Our Amazing Fried Potato Salad
  • French Fries
  • Fired Green Beans
  • Steamed Broccoli
  • Coleslaw
  • Flame-Grilled Sugar Snap Peas
  • Cottage Cheese
  • Red Beans & Rice
  • Baked Potato (after 4 pm)
We also suggest adding grilled shrimp with our homemade demi-glace sauce on top of your Filet Mignon. The taste combination of the two is simply out of this world! 


Don't Forget The Wine!
The best waterfront bar at the Lake of the Ozarks is fully stocked and ready to serve up all of your favorite cocktails to go along with that incredible steak dinner. One of our favorite drinks to enjoy along with it is a nice glass of wine, and if you agree, then you'll appreciate the fact that we have discounted glasses of wine available every Friday night, just in time to pair with Steak Night! 

Not Coming On Friday? 
Our awesome Steak Night Filet Mignon special is only available on Friday nights, but if you visit Backwater Jack's on one of the other nights of the week, you can still get your steak fix in a couple of different ways. 

14-oz. Ribeye
Seasoned to perfection, cooked to your desired temperature, and topped with garlic butter. 

Ribeye Steak Sandwich
A 7-oz. Ribeye charbroiled and topped with sauteed green and red bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions on a hoagie roll. 


We've got a lot more than just those steak dishes, though. Our menu uniquely combine the styles and ingredients of dishes from South Florida and the Caribbean with traditional favorites from the Midwest. You can also get many of the menu items that you fell in love with this season at our Sushi & Asian Grill from the main kitchen this time of year.
