Winter Fun at the Lake of the Ozarks - Mardi Gras Lake Pub Crawl Weekend!

It's not quite time for your favorite waterfront restaurant & bar at the Lake of the Ozarks to open back up for our 2021 season (but opening day's not that far away either!) Still, there's an exciting annual event that is definitely worth heading to the lake area for, even if you can't get back to Backwater Jack's just yet. That event is the Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl and this year, instead of just 1 day, it's 3 whole days long!

This extremely popular annual event is going to look a little bit different this year. It will, of course, still be an awesome party filled with amazing live music, fantastic drink specials, and tons of party people in masks and beads ready to have an unforgettable time.

Here are some of the important details to get you excited about the 2021 Lake Pub Crawl.

Lake Pub Crawl Passport 2021

As we mentioned earlier, what used to be a 1-day/night event will be an entire weekend extravaganza this year! The Lake Pub Crawl will be taking place February 19-21, 2021, and instead of a wristband to get you into each stop on the pub crawl, this year, there will be a mobile app.

The mobile app should be available to purchase for a $15 donation early in February. It will allow you to check-in at each pub crawl stop for a chance to win some amazing prizes. So far this year (because the list seems to grow each week) there are 16 participating bars & restaurants for everyone to enjoy. If you head on over to www.LakePubCrawl.com, you will find a list of live entertainment plus food and drink specials happening at each stop. These stops include:

  • Arris Pizza & Pub
  • Dam Good Slice
  • Harmy's Cheese Store & More
  • High Noon Bar & Grill
  • Inn at Grand Glaize
  • JJ Twig's Pizza & BBQ
  • Lake of the Ozarks Brewing Company
  • Lucky's
  • Shawnee Bluff Winery
  • S.N.A.F.U. Bar
  • Tirebiter's Peanut Pub
  • Tucker's Shuckers Oyster & Tap
  • Vista Grande Mexican Restaurant
  • Wicked Willie's Sports Grill
  • Alley Cat's Pizzeria & Pub
  • Blondie's Tropical Burger Bar

There will be no buses running this year, but the website and the mobile app will have a list of trusted transportation options for you to use in case nobody in your group wants to volunteer as the sober chauffeur.

If you are able to check-in at a minimum of 50% of the stops, you will be entered into the drawing for some awesome " Seasoned Crawler" prize packages. For anyone visiting 100% of the stops, they will be entered into the drawings for the "Super Crawler" prize packages, which includes a $1,000 cash prize!

Stay With Us!

Even though Backwater Jack's is closed in February, our Lake of the Ozarks vacation house rentals are available for you to stay in. Our "Cozy House" comfortably houses up to 16 people but if you have a smaller group of 8 or less, you can rent just the upper or lower floor of the house instead.

The upper level has 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a great covered deck with a fantastic lake view. The lower level has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a mini kitchen, living room, and it's own awesome deck with that same spectacular lake view.

Book now to reserve the Cozy House before someone else grabs it for Lake Pub Crawl Passport weekend. While you're at it, go ahead and book a couple of stays over the summer too! Then you can walk next door (only 100 feet away) to party with us at Backwater Jack's!

Enjoy all the fun and excitement that the lake area has to offer between now and St. Patrick's Day weekend. After that, things get even more exciting because that's the time of year when our Lake of the Ozarks lakeside restaurant & bar comes out of hibernation and really gets the party started! Who knows, maybe some of the Backwater Jack's crew will see you at the Lake Pub Crawl this year. Then we can "practice party" for our 2021 season together!
