Winter Fun at the Lake of the Ozarks - It's Mardi Gras Pub Crawl Time!
Well, actually, we're 1 month away from the Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl but it's definitely time for you to start making plans to be here! Backwater Jack's is still closed for the season right now but you'd better believe this is a party we look forward to attending, so we know you will too. (Even if your favorite waterfront bar & restaurant isn't a stop on the map. Don't worry, opening day in March will be here before you know it!)
In case you've never had the awesome pleasure of partying at a Lake Pub Crawl, here's what you've got to look forward to. Also, don't forget that if you're coming from out of town, our vacation house rentals at the Lake of the Ozarks give you a great place to chill out for the weekend with an awesome lake view!
19th Annual Lake of the Ozarks
Mardi Gras Pub Crawl
The Lake Pub Crawl gives you an excellent excuse to plan a winter vacation at the Lake of the Ozarks. It will take place on Saturday, February 8, 2020, beginning at 4:00 pm.
This annual event extends across Osage Beach and Lake Ozark. Currently, there are 13 stops signed up for the pub crawl and each venue will have it's very own live music. The purchase of a $10 wristband gives you entrance to every participating bar & restaurant. You can pick one up at any of the Lake Pub Crawl venues during the event and at Sunshine Daydream on the Bagnell Dam Strip.
That same wristband also gives you access to 23 pub crawl buses running all night long, from 4:00 pm-2:30 am. (Bars close at 1:30 am around here, but the event organizers want to make sure everyone gets back to where they are going at the end of the night safely!)
Stay With Us
Even though Backwater Jack's is closed in February, our Lake of the Ozarks vacation house rentals are available for you to stay in. Our "Cozy House" comfortably houses up to 16 people but if you have a smaller group of 8 or less, you can rent just the upper or lower floor of the house instead.
The upper level has 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a great covered deck with a fantastic lake view. The lower level has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a mini kitchen, living room, and it's own awesome deck with that same spectacular lake view.
Book now to reserve the Cozy House before someone else grabs it for Lake Pub Crawl weekend. While you're at it, go ahead and book a couple of stays over the summer too! Then you can walk next door (only 100 feet away) to party with us at Backwater Jack's!
The St. Patrick's Day weekend parades (both on the water and on the Bagnell Dam Strip) happen on Saturday, March 14 this year and our waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks will be open by then! (Keep an eye on our social media for details about that. As always, March weather will play a big part in our decision about opening day.)
You don't have to wait until the weather gets warm to enjoy an exciting vacation at the Lake of the Ozarks. (Yes, it's a lot more fun when you can get back to Backwater Jack's, but the Lake Pub Crawl comes highly recommended by us!) Think of it as good practice for getting in shape for a season full of partying at Backwater Jack's! After all, practice makes perfect!
