Lake of the Ozarks Labor Day Excitement - ALL Weekend Long!
The only place you need to plan to be this Labor Day Weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks is Backwater Jack's! Every single day of the extended holiday weekend we've got something awesome going on. FRIDAY
We're starting the weekend out on an impressive musical note with Griffin & the Gargoyles. This extremely talented group of musicians is an amazing cover band that has the ability to jump from rock to funk, Motown to hip-hop, and more on a moment's notice! Expect to hear a little bit of everything performed with unique energy and a freshness that will have you on the dance floor all night long!
SATURDAY
Saturday's a great big, eventful day filled to the brim with excitement from open 'til close! Beginning at 11:00 am, our final Zero Ducks Given Pool Party of the year will be getting underway. Some of the very best DJs you've ever heard will be rocking it poolside from 11 am-7 pm.
The water will be filled with ducks & party people that are ready for an out-of-this-world pool party! Expect cool giveaways and some awesome promos going on throughout the event. Don't party too hard too early though, because we've got more fun coming once the DJ is done.
Saturday night our stage will be graced by Machine Gun Symphony. These fellas are favorites around here with their face-melting 80's metal sound. Between the look, the sound, and the enthusiastic performance, you'll think you're right back in the height of 80s rock!
SUNDAY
Sundays around here are usually a more laid-back day for recuperating after a long weekend of partying. This Labor Day Weekend, we're still in the thick of things with a bonus day off (for most of you, at least) on Monday. That means you don't have to take things easy but can party as hard as you like once again today!
Pearl Nation is going to be here putting on an amazing show that you do not want to miss. Performing both covers and original music, they describe their sound as funky but diverse so... diversly funky! This terrific bunch of musicians will definitely keep the holiday party hopping!
MONDAY
The one and only James Clay will be taking the stage on Labor Day Monday to soothe the souls of you all. His sound is an experience you will thoroughly enjoy while you have a meal lakeside or poolside before the holiday is over. The first day of the week is also Crabby Ol Monday here at Backwater Jack's. That means we'll have irresistible deals for you on buckets of snow crab plus Pain in the A** and Rum Runners from the bar.
On Monday night, especially for all of you hard-working service industry folks that worked through Labor Day Weekend, another 21+ SWIMDUSTRY Nightswim Pool Party hosted by Effen Vodka is happening from 10 pm-1 am! It's your turn to have some fun with DJ Kaizen. There is no cover and your night will include a UV blacklight cannon, glow elements, animated laser light shows, pool floats, light-up drinkware, drink specials, prizes, giveaways, and even more surprises that you'll have to join us to find out about!
We've got the best of just about everything you could ask for in a Labor Day Weekend celebration. The best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks, the best pool parties, the best food & drinks, the best lake view, and the best people to party with all weekend long will be right here at Backwater Jack's.
