The Most Delicious Dinners at the Lake of the Ozarks

Instead of digging through the refrigerator and trying to decide what to make for dinner, make it a whole lot easier on yourself and get back to Backwater Jack's! When you dine at the best waterfront restaurant & bar at the Lake of the Ozarks, you don't have to worry about cooking or cleaning. All you need to do is show up, pick a dish, and enjoy our relaxing lake view while we serve dinner to you with a smile. 


Enticing Entrees
In addition to amazing appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and burgers, you'll find a wonderful variety of taste-tempting entrees on our extensive menu. There's no reason for you to slave over a hot stove when Backwater Jack's is ready to take care of all that hard work for you. 

The following meals can be found in the entree section of our menu. Each one is served with a Water's Edge House Salad, dinner roll, and one of our signature side dishes.  


Grilled Pork Loin
A 14-oz. pork loin smoked, grilled, and then smothered in apricot teriyaki sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds. 

14-oz. Ribeye
Seasoned to perfection, cooked to your desired temperature, and topped with garlic butter. 

Grilled Chicken Tenders
Four chicken tenders marinated in a teriyaki glaze, grilled and served over rice. 

Jamaican Lime Grilled Chicken
An 8-oz. boneless chicken breast spiced with Jamaican jerk seasonings, charbroiled, then topped with grilled lime and Jack's tropical Italian dressing and served over a bed of wild rice. 

Blackened Ahi Tuna
An 8-oz. charbroiled tuna steak blackened and cooked to your desired temperature. (We recommend med-rare to medium.) It is topped with garlic butter and served over wild rice. 

Grouper
A generous portion of our own version of fillets prepared either grilled, blackened, or coated in a light batter and deep-fried, then served over a bed of wild rice. 

Snow Crab Clusters
Nothing but the freshest snow crab clusters boiled hot and served with a tub of butter. Make it a double order and get an even better deal!


Friday Night Steak Night
This time of year, Friday night is Steak Night at Backwater Jack's! This spring we are offering an additional mouthwatering entree every Friday evening starting at 4:00 pm. 

This special dinner includes a 7-oz. Filet Mignon with your choice of a side dish for $14.99. You can also add shrimp skewers made up of 10 marinated grilled shrimp for just $5 more. 

Since we realize you will want something equally as delicious to wash that all down with, our house wines are available at a tasty discount too. Pair all that with our incredible lake view and the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks, and you've got the perfect start to your weekend!  


Signature Side Dishes
The side dishes we offer to enjoy alongside our delicious dinners are equally as mouthwatering as the main dishes. By far, we are most famous for that amazing Fried Potato Salad, but your other choices are pretty incredible too.

Who's Hungry?
Now that we've got you good and hungry, jump into the car or boat and head on over to our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront restaurant. We are currently open every Thursday-Sunday beginning at 11:00 am. 

Before you know it, we'll once again be open 7 days a week. The opening of our incredible pool, swim-up bar, and the Sushi & Asian Grill shouldn't be too far behind that! For now, you've got 4 whole days and nights to get back to Backwater Jack's and we can't wait to see you!
