7 Reasons You've Still Gotta Get Back to Backwater Jack's
Fall has arrived but our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar & restaurant is far from done for the season! The weather is still pleasant enough to do most of the same things you enjoyed all summer long, and it will be late in December before we're ready to take a break. Here are 7 reasons you've still gotta get back to Backwater Jack's, and the sooner, the better!
That Cool Heated Pool
The best lakeside pool & swim-up bar at the Lake of the Ozarks is still open for the season! Since it's heated, we can keep it at a comfortable 83° so that even if the air's a bit cool, you can still "chill out" in our awesome pool. Of course, you don't have to get in the water to enjoy lounging poolside and simply soaking up the relaxing vibe. If you do want to swim, come in soon. Our pool will be open through the end of September for sure, but after that, it's all up to how Mother Nature decides to treat us.
Fantastic Sushi
The same goes for the best sushi at the Lake of the Ozarks. We're keeping our Sushi & Asian Grill, located down by the pool, open at least until the end of September. After that, we'll be playing it by ear, so you'll want to call before coming in to make sure it's open if your heart is set on sushi. For those of you that haven't tried the delicious dishes we serve from the culinary experts of Jina Yoo's out of Columbia, MO, you really should get over here this week and treat your taste buds. You'll be amazed!
Delicious Daily Specials
We're still offering those awesome daily specials that we run all summer long, plus we've added the always popular Friday Steak Night to the list again. These will give you an extra incentive to come in on specific days. (Or ALL of them!)
The Best Main Menu Food & Drinks
While the sushi is only available for a limited time in the fall and our daily specials are limited to specific days, our everyday food & drink menus from the main restaurant are impressive all on their own. They uniquely combine the styles and ingredients from the cultures of South Florida and the Caribbean with traditional favorites of the Midwest. From our original Seafood Nachos, the Cuban, Colossal Crab Rangoon, and so much more plus that famous Fried Potato Salad, you're sure to find more than one dish that you will love.
Exciting Annual Events
There are a lot of fun things to do in the beautifully scenic Lake of the Ozarks in the fall, and some of them happen right here at Backwater Jack's. This Sunday, September 30 from 11 am-3 pm, AUTOPALOOZA is back for a 2nd exciting year. You'll see some of the baddest hot rods and custom bikes all on display right here in the Backwater Jack's parking lot.
A couple of weeks after that we'll be one of the stops in the always popular annual event, the Fall Harbor Hop on Saturday, October 13. A big day out on the lake cruising from stop to stop collecting poker cards for prizes and partying at and in-between each stop along the way!
Awesome Live Music
The best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks is still happening here at Backwater Jack's most nights of the week. You can see a current schedule on our website, but watching our Facebook page is a good idea because sometimes we like to add extra entertainment at the last minute. You don't have to worry about the weather ruining the show either, because not only do we have that awesome outdoor stage, but plenty of room on our indoor stage for hosting bands too.
Cozy Vacation Rentals
These are fairly new to us so you may not realize that some of the best vacation house rentals at the Lake of the Ozarks are only a few yards away from Backwater Jack's, and we can arrange to put you in them! The Backwater Jack's Cozy House can be rented in its entirety for up to 16 guests, or you can rent just the upper or lower level of the house, each of which comfortably holds 8 people. You can get a closer look at all of the rooms and check availability and pricing online through our website and book your stay smack dab in the middle of all the action!
