See What's Waiting For You at Backwater Jack's for the Spring Harbor Hop & Beyond This Season!
The 2018 Spring Harbor Hop not only brings with it the unofficial opening to boating season in the lake area, but also the opening of the best pool and swim-up bar at the Lake of the Ozarks, plus the Sushi & Asian Grill right next to those! With so many amazing reasons to get back to Backwater Jack's this coming weekend, how could you possibly resist?
Harbor Hop Happenings
Last week's blog gave you details about the 2018 Spring Harbor Hop. Today, we've got more information about why you will want to be spending most of your day, as well as the rest of the weekend, right here with us!
First of all, all of your favorite food and drink combinations can be found right here at Backwater Jack's. We'll have those amazing frozen cocktails you love and the Coastal cuisine with a Midwestern flair we specialize in. Since Harbor Hop happens to fall on Cinco de Mayo this year, we'll be sure to have plenty of margaritas, nachos, and quesadillas ready for you too so you don't feel like you're missing out on that holiday by choosing to participate in this awesome event.
Backwater Jack's will also be hosting some of the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks over the weekend. (As well as all season long!)
The Sushi & Asian Grill
Expanding on that incredible food that we mentioned earlier, the best sushi at the Lake of the Ozarks is finally here again! Not only are the ingredients fresh, but every dish is made fresh to order. The items on our extensive sushi & Asian grill menu were huge hits last year, and you can expect the same high quality and mouthwatering flavors again this season.
Pool Time!
Now that we're far enough into spring that we shouldn't have to worry about cold weather creeping up on us anymore (knock on wood!) it's time to jump back into your favorite lakeside pool at the Lake of the Ozarks! You'll find lots of room to hang out in the water and tables to hold your drinks in there too.
There are also plenty of comfy lounge chairs all around the pool, but be warned, they fill up fast and people don't seem to ever want to get out of them! You can reach the bar without getting out of the water on one side, and the other half of our swim-up bar can be enjoyed from dry land in the shade, out of the sun.

We realize that you've got to make at least 6 other stops if you're collecting a Harbor Hop poker hand, but this is the one that's going to show you the best time! Make sure you leave enough time to hang out with us for a while during the day, and come back once you're done collecting cards to spend the rest of the evening at our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar & restaurant.
We'll be here Sunday too, ready and waiting with all of our Sunday Fun Day specials and more live music. As a matter of fact, you can hang out with us at Backwater Jack's anytime you like, 7 days a week, beginning at 11 am daily! What a wonderful way to spend your time!
