Tuesday, June 3rd

Lake Race Volunteer Party at Beavers at the Dam.
At 6:00 PM, All Lake Race volunteers are invited to join complimentary appetizers, get their Lake Race volunteer t-shirts, and visit with their team leaders for race weekend assignments.

Wednesday, June 4th

Lake Race Pontoon Party sponsored by Playcraft Pontoons and Iguana Water Sports.
From 5:00-8:00 PM, enjoy complimentary appetizers, cash bar and hear plans for the second Lake Race Pontoon Race. See new model pontoon boats, new water sport toys and all the fun new products available around the lake this season.

Thursday, June 5th  

Fire Fighter Props and Hoses Fun Run
This event will take place at participating waterfront restaurants all morning long between the 0 and 31 mm. 

 After Fun Run Party
This party starts at Topsider at 6:00 PM, and the Lake Race VIP sponsor and Racer Welcome starts at 7:00 PM.

Friday, June 6th

Strip Closed to Traffic
The strip closes to regular traffic at 11:00 am, and Racer Village begins to form on Iguana Point.

Lake Race Street Party
Head out Bagnell Dam Blvd for a great party at 6:00 PM!



Saturday, June 7th

9:00 AM - Crane starts operating 
10:00 AM - Racer testing starts
11:45 AM - Opening Ceremonies begin
12:00 PM - Racing starts
12:00-3:00 PM - Race coverage will be produced and supplied by KRMS/93.5 Rocks and KRBK Fox TV-live.
5:00 PM - All racing concludes.

Sunday, June 8th

10:00 AM - Crane area opens.
11:50 AM - National anthem begins
12:00 PM - Racing begins
4:00 PM - Racing concludes
5:30 PM - Lake Race awards ceremony begins

Monday, June 9th

6:00 PM - Lake Race Chopper Dropper at Dogwood Hills Golf Club
Awards and prizes announced at Heroes Sports Saloon following.

The Lake has over 1,150 miles of shoreline - more than the state of California! There are roughly 70,000 docks on the Lake. Bagnell Dam is 2,543 feet long. While many of you are preparing to party at the Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl this weekend (Feb. 19-20. Learn more about that event in last month's blog ) all of us here at Backwater Jack's are busy preparing for a very special date a bit further out than that. Opening day for our waterfront restaurant & bar at the Lake of the Ozarks is coming up very soon!  Consider the Lake Pub Crawl your warm-up for the fun and excitement we'll have waiting for you when we all get back to Backwater Jack's again!  Opening Day Thursday, March 11, 2021 Beginning on Thursday, March 11, 2021, Backwater Jack's will open our doors at  11:00 am every Thursday-Sunday . (Once again, just in time for St. Patrick's Day Weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks! ) We'll keep those hours to get things started and most likely extend that to 7 days a week at some point in April.  Remember all of the awesome times and fantastic food and drinks you enjoyed here with us last season?
